This was the fifth manufacturing plant of Mahindra, after Mazagaon, Ghatkopar, Kandivali and Nashik. The plant is located in Igatpuri, about 120 kms east of Bombay and at an altitude of 3000 feet above sea level. Igatpuri was selected for its favourable climatic conditions and clean air.
