Mahindra Renault

In 2006, Mahindra entered in to a JV agreement with Renault to manufacture their World car – the Logan, in India. The JV was named as Mahindra Renault Ltd.

As per the agreement, Mahindra and Renault will import, manufacture & assemble the Logan based on kits received from Dacia, Romania. The vehicle would carry a Renault logo.

The vehicles will be assembled at M&M plant at Nashik as per contract manufacturing agreement and sold and supported by M&M dealer network.

After 3 years in operation, the JV was dissolved when M&M took over Renault’s stakes in the company. Mahindra continued to import the kits and sell car under M&M logo with a new name – Verito.
