Bolero Power Plus with Gen3 grill

The Bolero Power Plus is the upgraded version of Bolero Zlx. The engine was replaced with the modern 1.5 liter mHawk diesel engine mated to the new 5-speed Synchromesh gearbox. The overall length of the vehicle was tweaked to be under 4 meters for meeting the tax regulations.

  • mHawk D70 – 3-cylinder, Common Rail Diesel Engine
  • 5MT320 – 5-speed Gearbox
  • Drive – RWD
  • Body on Chasis
  • Wheelbase – 105.5″
  • Wheel Track (Front) – 57″
  • Wheel Track (Rear) – 53″

A BS6 compliant version of the Bolero (Power Plus tag is not used) was rolled out during the year 2020 and continues to be in production.

The Bolero, originally launched in the year 2000, continues to sell in large numbers and is a favourite rural vehicle. It’s “never say die” attitude, supported by the Engineering and Manufacturing teams at Mahindra, ensured that the vehicle is still in production, nearing it’s Silver Jubilee.
